The Ruhrstahl Heraeus (RH for short) recirculation degassing process has proven its excellent suitability for operations with short batch times. Due to short treatment times and minimum temperature losses, they attain exceptional decarburization and degassing results. Furthermore, they are highly efficient and cost-effective because they do not require any special slag measures or ladle free board, and also operate without any tuyere bricks.
